Don't get either! Duratrax isn't that good. I have had experience with them (the Maximum ST). If you want a truck similar to those, go with the XXX-NT Sport RTR. It is the best on the market in Stadium Trucks (excluding the Mugen MSt-1, but that is probably way too expensive). It has a great radio, speed, and handling. It is a real race-quality truck.

i cant afford that, im looking in the $250-$300 region, plus 4 of my friends have duratrax cars, axis, max bx, overdrive st, and the street force, and they havent complained about them, and if they have had any problems with crashes, which 3 of them had, duratrax is really nice, they give u like, so many parts if u break something, but i dont know, im new to this so i prolly dont know wat im talking about

Yea, the RC10GT is also a great truck for the money. Duratrax is considered the beginner types of cars. That is how they perform too. They are not a bad maker for the money, but you can get a whole lot better. They are kinda the "Low-end" cars and trucks made. Just don't make a decision because of the money you have because it will be so much better to wait a while longer, save money, and get a real good car, instead of getting something bad right away. Do you know what I'm meaning?

i slammed into the neighbors tire at full speed LOL it was pretty cool looking it like flipped in the air like 20ft and did like 10 flips the gahy bumper broke also [:@] cheap peice of crap[:@] so i made myself a bumper that covered the wheels
but anyway the rc10gt is also like 10yrs old (not that it's a bad truck)

Anyways, the evaders are fine for the money (the car itself is anyways), but I must say the stock engines on them are terrible. For the first 1-2 gallons they run good, but its completely downhill from their.
I wouldnt consider the Duratrax cars low-end, more or less middle class (RC10GT would in the racing class). Beleive me, I have seen MUCH worse than the evaders.

quite a few of the Evaders I've seen have 5-6 gallons through them and are still running almost as strongly as a freshly broken in one.

Well maybe I just got a bad engine then, it happens
. All I know is mine is heading for the trash bin (or ebay) as soon as I get the money to replace it.
I may never replace it though as im thinking of selling the car.
