capacitors?
i have a couple of caps i was going to wire up to my MM that will be going in my e-maxx. i was wondering if caps had a positive and a negitive. if so is the positive side the end with the "crimp" in it? and to double the uF do i solder + to + and - to - .....or + to -. electronics are my weakness, sorry lol.

RE: capacitors?
If you use a ceramic capacitor then polarity does not matter at all. If it is an electrolysis capacitor then you should connect the + of the capacitor to the + of the battery.

RE: capacitors?
For brushless you never use ceramics. Put a low ESR electrolytic capacitor in parallel with the battery, but mounted as close the ESC itself as possible.
Electrolytics have polarity and it is very important to follow that. Typically the longer lead is the '+' and the shorter is the '-'. But it should be labelled somehow on the case.
If one end looks like it has a little indentation all around it, it must be an axial cap and typically the '+' end is the one with the indentation on it.
