either its way too rich or you need to put in a new glow plug. Most likely its the glow plug, sometimes they just go bad but they go bad alot during break in.

there are probably 2 mix screws, high and low.

Did you break the car/engine in when you first got it? is it a new engine, how many tanks have you had thru it?

the high should be 2 1/2 out from closed and the low should be 4 out from closed and the idle screw should be set so the carb has a 1mm opening when at idle and the brake is applied.

no, that just holds the throttle arm in place. Thats looks like a .18 rotary carb infinity, some of those didnt come with a low needle just a high neede.

Judging from the screw in the body of the crankase just below the Carb (thats the one that holds the carb) it has to be a small block infinity [:-]

In That case does anyone have any suggestions that might get the engine running properly? It will start, idle and run at high revs properly. but when i throttle off from high revs or it changes into second gear the engine dies. I have replaced all the exhaust gaskets and fuel lines but still have the problems. Can anyone help?
