Darenm made this thread in the beginners plane section. I am stealing this idea and will start writing up a few for cars too.
There will be one in this forum about chosing the first car and deciding on electric or gas, there will be one in the electric forum about diffrent electrics same for gas and monster trucks.
This will be aimed at someone new to RC so it wont be about the best, race ready setup but about the best for someone to start with out of the box (not including hopups.)
What I am asking is that people suggest cars and trucks to include with a brief rundown of the advantages and disadvantages of each. I dont want a "this is better then that" type thread but a "this one has x and y but no z and costs about $$$" type of rundown.
I will be researching the cars, getting the pictures and then assempling the thread using your suggestions.
This should help out the people that are new and thin out the "What car should I buy" threads.
Thanks in advance for your help..

Hopefully it will put a stop to the same posts over and over and over again.
If people learned to use the SEARCH then these things wouldn't even be needed. Too bad people have gotten so lazy.

yeah i posted a topic in the suggestion forums about this over a month ago.
no word on it yet but if your gonna start with some good sticky topics, i got some ideas for you.
sticky these topics:
What car/truck should i buy?
My engine wont start what should i do?
What fuel should i use in my nitro engine?
i know from using other forums where they use stickies more often, that a lot of people end up posting the same question anyway but then we can "report this post to a moderator" and have it deleted or locked.

well this is gonne be delayed a bit as I wait for dell to fix my laptop. the screen decided to stop lighting up. I can only access RCU at work and my stepfathers computer and I cant spend the time on those machines to do this.
besides nobody has given me any suggestions
I'm trying to pawn some of the research work off on you guys and you arent taking...

there has to be someone out there willing to do my work for me
