Default E-Savage Charging System

I recently received my new E-Savage, I tried charging the batteries with the charger it came with. I cant seem to make it work. I conected it to the car cigarete conection, and it blew out the fuze in my car. Then I used the alligator clamp and conected it to the car battery and it blew out the fuze on the charger, whats the deal with this thing?

I wrote HPI they said that there might be something wrong witht the charger and I will have to mail it to them in California, Im in Iraq right now, I dont want to ship it all the way over there...it will take forever.

Does someone know what may be wrong or what to do, I honestly dont think anything is wrong with it but maybe I may be doin something wrong.

Same thing happened to my charger - the part that plugs into the cigarette lighter is flimsy, allowing the two wires to arc together (and blow the fuse).

Take the plug apart and re-connect the wires, making sure everything is intact.

Otherwise, this charger works very well for me (I like having a dual charger).
