Nitro = Danger?
My father just got crazy when he saw my fuel bottles in my room. They were just sitting on a large freezer which stays cold all the time. I know its electrical app. but still, is there a real danger storaging RC-fuels inside the house? On top of the freezer?
I will clean my stuff to get room from some up shelf soon for fuels.
I live in Finland and the weather varies a lot, about 25F to 73F so it isnīt a very good idea to have fuels outside all the time?

Buy a nice plastic or metal box to store the fuel in. That way it keeps away from heat and such and if you get a leak in the bottle it doesnt spill.
if one of those bottles cracks and it leaks into the electrics of the fridge its gonna get real interesting real fast.

I store my fuel in-house. I have never had a problem with the bottles cracking. Remember to keep the fuel away from sunlight. (the bottle should give you storage instructions.)

dood if your dad is worried about the fuel igniting somehow he must be worried about a heck of a lot.
thats the last thing on my mind when i get home froma day of bashing.
yeah no one wants to have their house burn down, but i think you have better luck of an avalanche than the fuel igniting.
to make him happy just keep it somewhere where there is no electronics or heat.
i once left my fuel bottle under the hood of my car. my friend was using my car battery for his rc battery charger, and i guess i left it there when i was packing up and disconnecting the clips on his charger. when i got home the bottle was fine. it did take me two days to find it though, cause i thought i left it at the field.
then for i said to myself" hey it could be under my hood" lol
