Default anybody know....

ok, anybody know if i can get this itty bitty little piece at my lhs or something i can use to make it work? It's called the brake chip ,it is used to aplie presure to the brake shoes when the brake lever is used.... thanks Andre

You should be able to make one out of a nail. All you need is a file and wire cutters. I know my LHS didnt carry them, so I made one.

NP dude, make a couple of them that way if it happens again you have spairs. lol Believe it or not I use nail for my front and rear hinge pins. They work great.

LMAO, Yea believe it or not, the nails work better in a race situation they bend instead of breaking. The stock hinge pins on the RXB and RXT will snap. I think the stock pins are designed to break before the lower control arms do. However in a race, if you hit hard the bend allows you to finish, then repair. I use a standard framing nail, that is the same diameter as the stock hinge pin, cut it and file the ends square.
