well ,last night i just had to drive my tsunami, so it was going real good, so my son said dad let me drive it, i said awh.... ok , man he was doing pretty good until (you guessed it) hit a curve head on full speed, i was so mad,[:@] i had to laugh about it to try to ease the pain.
its my own fault though ,i should had never been trying to drive in the dark on a street with no street lights, anyway my chassis has a warp/bend right where the clutch bell is ,no matter how i move the motor ,the clutchbell barley makes contact with the spur gears , i think i need a whole new chassis, is it a big job to switch everything over to another chassis? or is it even worth the time to do it?

I just hammered mine straight again when I folded my truck, but I folded mine right behind the front diff. If your plate is bent near the engine/transmission area, it's probably wise to get a new plate otherwise you'll probably just end up stripping gears all the time.

Jeeze that sucks! That is exactily why i dont let anyone drive my rc's, i tell them, if you want to drive, Get your own! so it sucks but ya it is your son so. i see why. and i herd you were kind of skeptical on leting him! i guess you were haveing too much fun!
get some photos, and what did you break?

Shoota...........it is pretty easy changing everything over. when you get your new chassis get a piece of cardboard and trace your chassis and all of the holes in it. when you start taking the screws out just poke them into the "cardboard chassis". once its all dissassembled you will know what screws go where on your new one.
lol talk to Zeen420. he heard me hit a piece of angle iron at full speed when i bent the chassis on my buggy.lol

Replacing the chassis is not that bad. These cars are mostly built from component parts, front diff assembly, rear diff assembly, engine assembly, etc... After destroying my Torpeda/Hurricane it only took me a couple of hours to complete it. Nice thing is that you learn alot about your RC by the time your done. Just remember, have fun with it.
