they work bro, just be careful not to over pinch, i used a pincher on a .28 i had, i had to use a heat gun to get it to turn over for the first time but once it was running, it was insane, you will have to break the engine in again but its better than out of the box because of the intense pinch you can give it but like i said, take your time and check after you do the 4 points, you can always go tighter.

shoota...when your engine loses its "pinch" you lose compression...you have to have compression for your engine to run...a sleeve pincher puts that "pinch" back into the sleeve

shoota, its just what is sounds like, it pinches the sleeve so it grabs the piston better for more compression.

understand completely, i just thought that once you lost compresion because the pinch was gone, it was no way to repair that, except by rebulding the motor? where do you buy these sleeve pinchers and how much do they cost? thanks

That is the only place I know to get them too. I tried pinching a motor and did it too tight so I gave up. I have a local guy that has done it for years and only charges 10 bucks a cylinder.
