I need to find a cheap brushless kit for my rustler that does 70mph with 3S LiPo. I don't want to spend to much and nothing over $169.99.....Thanks

Not an expert. But Castle creations sidewinder combo for 1/10 i think runs around $130-$150. The cool thing about that is that I believe you can program various settings into it and the cost factor.

there are a few different motor options if you check out castle's website.

I personnally am thinking about the traxxas velinion system because its so easy to turn it into training mode so you can let others give it a try.

Just as a note of caution, i'm not all that sure that I'd want a "cheap" brushless system controlling my rc vehicle when it's going 70mph....

you have to pay extra for the castle link with the sidewinder but its still a good choice. im torn between that or the vileneon for my rusty beater

If you want the speed go with VXL it is 3 cell lipo compatable.. I have the 4600 sidewinder and it is 3 cell compatable, But the 3500 VXL has more torque and can be geared higher for the higher speeds...

the sidewinder won't handle the speeds you want, it can't run 5700 on 3s

VXL on 3s is your best bet...
