8 days since the auction end? Is the item being shipped from the same country? That can make a big difference.

Also, you can see if feedback has been posted after you have paid for the item. That is a good way to see if the seller is on top of things.

I am in the US. I have e-mailed him 3 times and no answer. I has been 9 days sence it ended. I dont even know if he shipped yet.

Many sellers prefer to be left alone and just complete the transaction without any communication. However, since you have inquired, the seller should have responded.
