torque on screws?

Default torque on screws?

ok, how do u guys know how tight the screw should be?
some ppl go by how many torgue, but is there anything way i can know with torque wrench?
cuz i dunt wanta lose the screw from my engine or some where else...and also dunt wanta over tighten it
plz teach me how to do that

you want them snug, not super tight. Any screw that screws into metal should be threadlocked with blue threadlock. Screws that screw into plastic should NOT be threadlocked (the dont need it and theadlock can melt some plastics).

yah, i use tread lock on my engine mount screws
how about the screws for engine head?

Esepacially when going into plastic, once the head begins to seat I'll just geat a light grip on the driver with my fingertips and twist with my fingers instead of twisting at the wrist. Provided the head looks fully seated to me if I'm not able to continue to turn it with my finger tips than it is good enough. I know if I grab it with my hand I could probably get another few degrees of turn in and still be fine, but I don't want to risk stripping out the hole...sometimes that can happen too easily.
