definatley more popular than the monster truck class. So much so that in the "big league" racing, they ended 1/10 scale truck (whole nother class) and production monster truck racing. Truggies are much more popular than the "monster crowd" but monster trucks at the "club" level are still very popular.

Monster trucks used to popular since truggys came along, the monster truck class has been dead at our track 25 truggy racers, 3 monster truck racers, is the typical scene

Looks like the monster trucks are still the popular choice for the person who is just out to bash or have fun round the house with friends, and the truggy has become more popular with the club and track runners. My tmaxx is my basher and it has been built for it. I dont have a truggy yet but when I do get one it will be mostly used at the tracks.
