Default what could be wrong?

http://www.maxamps.com/Power-Supply-10A.htm

well about that power supply i got from max amps something is kinda weird about it..i mean it works perfectly fine just that the postive terminal on it is smaller than the negative one..i tried plugging in banana plugs that came with my charger and they only fit into the negative terminal and wont fit in the positve one. if anyone has had problems like this is there someway that i could fix it?

thanks,
brian

Is it the diameter or the length that is trouble?

Usually it is the male plugs that get worn. Many times they can be bent to make a good connection. I've never seen the females ones differ in diameter.

The adapter in the picture if for the wall plug to convert to Euro wall plug style.

I'd say contact who you bought it from, take a pic of your out put ports and email it to them.

You probably got one that slipped thru without the ID being finished machined. It should be same as the other one.

There's lots of sizes , but the standard bananas are all the same.

OR they could do that for polarity mix-ups.

If it was mine I would drill it out to the standard size. Be careful brass grabs sometimes.

Yes. Take some effort to ensure it doesn't spin in the housing or you may wind up with a twisted wire, broken power suply.

You may also use an alligator clamp temporarily making sure not to pull too much current through it and careul it doesn't short out. I would hate to see it ruined since they will not refund onec it is "modded"

they could have made it that way so you cant space out and put the wrong plug in the wrong side i think it would be easy change the clip off your charger positive to a size that fits .
