I know this is my 2nd question of the day... but this one should be quick, is wheel wobble normal? I work on bikes (the pedaling type
) and wheel wobble is a big "no-good". So i had my savage out, it wheels were of the ground and they wobble a lot especially at high speed. Should they be replaced? or is there an adjustment? or should i shut up and drive?

First I would check and make sure everything is tight. Wheel lock nuts tightened up and nothing loose in the suspension system. After a while some wheel slop in any RC vehicle is unpreventable. Check the hubs and make sure they fit right inside the wheels as well. If anything is not fitting correctly then it's time to start replacing parts. With the wheels off the ground you are going to see the wheels wobble no matter what. Just grab the wheels and trying moving them in and out with your hand, if there's no play or just a minute amount, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you are using soild dish wheels you will get some wobble if the rim is warped. Also if you have the original plastic hubs make sure that one side hasnt worn that caused my rustler wheels to wobble.

Could be just the tyres m8 they may need balancing?
If its the wheel take off the tyre and spin the rim on the axle stubs to see if there straight etc
The wheels take alot of pressure when turning at high speeds enough to warp the rims.

Try to isolate where the wobble is being caused. Is the wheel bent? Are the tires mounted properly? Is there slop at the bearings or hubs? Is the axle nut tight enough? I snug them and back it off until they spin freely. Does your vehicle have bushings or bearings? Bushings will wear and induce some slop, bearings wont unless they're failing.

I'm an ex-cyclist and bike shop guy. You will get some wobble and most likely, you can true the wheel with a little force while on the axle using the car as leverage. However, once it starts to wobble, it'll probably never be "right" again. It's plastic and only has one side of it that keeps it true - much different than a spoked or cast wheel.
