Default pit guy

any tips on how 2 find a new pit guy??? me and my pops go 2 the track and race but this weekend there is a big race at my local track and he cant make it, got any tips

Only thing I can think of is to give a guy $20 or if you are broke get a guy in the stands and tell him he can drive your car if you pit for him. But those are long shots?

I've never been to a race where I wasn't able to find a pit guy - especially big races where there are many other racers to ask! I for one have never, ever turned down a request to pit for someone. Unless I was in that race, had to marshall or was already pitting for someone. And I have often taken on 2 racers to pit at the same time for.

Just ask around. You'll find someone.

ive found people at races MORE than willing to help, its that community spirit, just be nice back to them, maybe pit for them, or something like that, a little generousity goes a long way[8D]

There is always someone willing to help out and after you get to know the people you race with you will get people offering to pit you .

ok thanks, i found out shortly after i posted this that my neices b-day party is on saturday so now i cant race , im going 2 try and leave early and at least watch. But thanks for your input guys
