Default best hop-ups for RC10GT

hey, i decided to keep my rc10gt rather than get an adam drake.

i got the RTR kit, but i wanna make this car a very nice and respective track car, while still being able to take the occasional backyard abuse.

1) why is FM so much better than AM?

2) what is the best 2 ch FM radio and servos (preferabbly digital and under 200)

3) what are all the parts that would make this very durable...everything from the brakes to the drivetrain to the suspension. THE WHOLE WORKS!

Default RC10GT

If you are going to race my suggestion to you is to get rid of the RTR and get you a Factory Team edition GT.

Simply look at the parts on the FT GT on the Associated website and you will find all the parts that you are looking for.
To build your current car up to that level is simply to expensive when you can buy one for so much less.

1. You can argue all day about FM and AM, FM has a better wavelenght and travels further. Oc course someone can argue that point. All you need to know is that FM radios usually have more features and better reliability.

2.There is no best radio, its all about opinion, Airtronics, JR, Futaba and others. If you want the best grab the flagship model from one of those manufacturers, they are all good.

3.Factory Team Edition RC10GT.

All of the above can be found from reading on the forum, use the search feature for more details.

Good advice. If you want the best, go with the Factory Team RC 10GT. It comes with all the hop-up parts already.

i was thinking of getting a team built model, but if i was to go that route, i would definetely go with the adam drake. i think it handles a whole lot better than the rc10.

are you guys saying there are no better aftermarket stuff than the team built stuff?

i like the JR radios, but they dont have an FM radio that is 2 channel

and any really good sites to buy from except stormer and tower?

No it don't. The Team RC 10 handles at least as good as any Losi.

maybe...maybe not.

i guess its always gonna be one of those things that are always gonna be debated. maybe mine handles worse cuz my servos suck...i dunno.

would it cheaper for me to get all aftermarket stuff for my rtr rc10 or should i just buy the team built thing?

i want nice stuff like MIP cvds and all that

Did you get the rtr or the rtr plus?????? If you got the plus the only thing you really need are the graphite shock towers and MIP cvds.

Does having the flat chassis better, performance wise compared to the tub chassis. I should be recieving my rc10gt from a trade and it has a tub chassis, should i upgrade? If so does any you have one not being used and intersted in selling? Thanks

The tub chassis was very competitive and some still like it better than the new flat chassis. The flat chassis is just a whole pile easier to work on.
