Well I been in and out of rc for awile now. This xmas I think im going to pick up my boy a slash, and im going to need to get a few battery packs as well. I usually go with a standard 6 cell 3300-4500 pack. But for some reason they always die on me,like I bought 4 packs early summer, played with them till like the end of aug,let them just sit on my work bench till a few days ago. Now they wont take a charge,is it because they sat dead for that long? Do I need to store them fully charged?
Also I was looking into li-po packs,I see there around a $100 a pack "ouch" but what would be some benefits to them? Keep in mind I dont run brushless, just stock stuff. Will it double run times with more power? Also are they tough and will hold up to bashing and take a few puddles splashes here and there?
What ares soem good chargers and li-po packs that wont kill my bank account?
