Default Tuned pipe temperature difference

I just inistalled a Losi, Adam Drake tuned pipe on my HPI NMT. What a HUGE difference in top end speed!! It's like a new truck!

I am curious though as to why the motor seems to be running so much hotter. I've haven't made any adjustments to the carb setting however the temperature really seems to be getting up there.

Maybe it's because this pipe is built for top end and it's allowing the engine to reach it's maximum rpm. I don't know. Any suggestions?

More power= more BTU's. With more power comes heat also. Just richen the high end needle up a bit to bring the temp down.

Default Change

When ever you make a change to the engine you will have to re-tune the engine.
The above is good advice.
