yeah really excited about it, watched some videos on the website and i was sold, and also very affordable. And not finding an australian retailer i might be able to surprise some people

Hi,

When you are bashing, things break. So I think another thing to consider is your source of spare parts. If you have a local guy that sells spare parts, I would recommend buying whatever brand you can afford from that local guy. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of shipping costs + wait times. 2 speed transmission is pretty cool. Just hearing the thing change gears somehow makes the bashing experience more enjoyable.

The only things that have a 2-speed tranny are nitro onroad cars and cheap chinese knockoffs who put 2 gears in to make it seem faster.

Oh really? What about hpi savage x and xl? You can get a freakin 3 speed for them.

Yeah. The MGT's, E/T Maxx, HPI's all have 2-3 speed trannies. Those aren't cheap chinese knock offs.
