Well as a side hobby i like to design rc cars in cad (Solidworks).
I have been looking for a site that has part files, but haven't found one.

I started a site called [link=http://transworldrc.com]TRANSWORLDRC.com[/link] where i am going to let people download my files.
If you have some files in .step, .igs, Solidworks formats that you would like to share contact me here or on that site and i will make them available.

Also If you know of any other sites that may offer cad model files post up a link

hey whats going on! hope you had a great newyears! just wondering why exactly you need cad drawings? and exactly what for? everything rc? i'm not to clear. also you may find it hard especially if there are some type of rights attached to the drawings. what is the purpose for? to mock up and modify to quicky build a car? or quickly run to china with free drawings? i\m not bashing you i just am curious. because i may have some drawings for you :-) we work with solidworks and mastercam 10.2 have a great newyear!
