Mess with the idle set screw, it seems that the brake is pushing the carb all the way shut and turning off the engine. The carb should be open only about 1mm when you take the airfilter off and when it is in the idle position.

If the problem persists after adjusting the idle, then it's time to look at the clutch (it may be staying engaged).

Thank you guys for the helpful tips. I adjusted the idle screw and set up the opening the way it should be, the problem has been solved. The engine won't shut off after hard-braking anymore. But there's two other problems now. 1. The brakes don't work that good and I almost crash the car. 2. The gear won't shift to the second anymore !!!!!!
I'm so FRUSTRATED. Please help this newbie out, thank you.

To make the brakes work better, you are going to have to adjust the linkage, so that the brakes are pulled. Or adjust the servo endpoint so that it pulls farther on the brakes. For second gear, I don't know, since i've never had a car with a two speed, so maybe someone else can help you.
