Default Chasing a tune?

The last time I took my Truggy to the Track, I was having Trouble getting it to run right.....Kuppler was with me that Day.....
Couldnt find a Tune to Save my Life! Temps out of control.......
And the Darn Truck just WOULDNT start when it was Hot, without Holding the Carburetor WIDE OPEN......

I KNEW it couldnt be an Air Leak, because I had Recently Sealed the engine and Carb with Hi temp RTV silicon, (I do this to ALL my engines).
Compression was fine too.....Gas Tank n Fuel lines were OK.....Glow Plug was OK too.....

Well,,,,I tore down my engine to check it out and THIS is what I Found.....
Big Hole on the Carb Slider Booty, (can you say HUGE air leak!?)
No wonder I was having Tuning issues...Lol.....

You can get this rubber booty from an XTM dealer, (RCLynx). Here is a Link.
