hpi mt2 ss .28
I'm having a little problem with my mt2 ss. yesterday i was bashing in my backyard and i snapped a cup joint, i dont know how the cup joint snapped but all my other gears are still holding with almost a gallon ran thru this particular engine(Diablo .28) bashing plus the time i ran the outlaw 18. is there any other type of hardened cup joints other than the heavy duty ones? i also want to upgrade to bigger wheels. what would be some good wheels to consider or would you recommend wheels from 1/8 scale truck?

The hardened cups are your best bet. You might want to upgrade to the CV joints while you are at it. I wouldnt really suggest much bigger tires as its going to put more strain on the drive shafts and the suspension and I dont think it would even turn with 1/8th size tires on it.

its hould with a .28 in it. but i still agree with KeithjV that you shouldn`t put on bigger tyres, your only going to cause more drivetrain issues!
