I saw an HSP 1/16 monster truck in my LHS, looks nice.

I was told HSP and himoto are the same.

May you tell me it this is true?

So, would you recommend me to buy HSP or himoto monster truck?

Is this a durable reliable product?

some of the himoto rc's are hsp....himoto is starting to produce some of their own now though....the mega p and mega e series ARE NOT hsp.....parts are available at himotoracingusa.com.....

the himoto are much better quality than the HSP, Period.

and himoto brought out some of there own cars, (all the Mega P's)

the 1/16 designs are kinda similiar, so are many other brands.
HSP is known to have inferior quality.
Himoto makes tough trucks and continue to invest in new product, parts are available and reasonably priced.
i have a himoto, if i was to buy something not too overly priced (like traxxas, HPI) i would still pick Himoto over any other brands.

So, the design looks similiar, but they are not from the same manufacturer.

if your wanting a electric truck I would suggest this one... http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himo...p?id=1285&=SID ...its a bit more money but its also a bigger truck and will be more durable for you....I think you would be much happier......contact Eddie at himotoracingusa.com and I am sure he can hook u up or lead you to the best place to make your purchase

But seriously, I look at the pictures time and a again and the monster truck in the himoto web page is the same my LHS has!! Even decals "Kidking" are the same!!

a 1/10th will be more durable then a 1/16...and for around $30 more u get a better truck....should hit ur lhs up to become a himoto dealer

The Monster truck you looked at is Probably the RANCHO,,,,which is an HSP made Truck.....
If you look at the MXT-2S you will see that it is TOTALLY different from HSP. The MXT-2S comes with a 2 Speed Transmission and is a Very fast and strong truck......I own one myself and recommend it Highly......ASK your hobby shop about the MEGA P line of cars and trucks......

The 1/16 trucks are great(from my experience). They are a little finicky, and they love attention. BUT, you could pay a very little more and get a MegaP MXT-2S 1/8 scale Nitro.
This truck is KILLER! Or you can get the MegaP MTR-2S Nitro Truggy, which is also a KILLER rc.
