Default Next generation coming into it.

Hey guys, just wanted to let everybody know my 3yr old daughter just got her first rc truck. Its not much now its a Nikko Scorpion. I used to have one when I was coming up and loved it. We got it for $3 from a thrift store. The great thing about this thing was its a nikko, but you can upgrade it with hobby grade parts. Its got a 540 or 550 size motor, plenty of room for a esc, and standard size servo all easily accessible. It even has crystals so were using a tq 3 on it. Its great to start them early.

So you think 13 is to early for brushless and lipos? I had a tmaxx with a big block when I was 13. And you can count on the pics for later on. If nothin else when I want to strangle her new boyfriend I can remember the good ol days.

No, I mean techonogy has improved, when I was 13, 9-turns and 7-cell packs were great, now, by the time shes 13 she should have a Savage FLUX with 6S lipos or something

And then she discovers boys and starts dating, and a whole different set of headaches begin.

At least with RCs, if you can keep her intersted long enough in them, that set of headaches are way less complicated!

haha seriously. im going to be the dad that wants to know what my daughter is up to all the time. maybe. i wish my dad like rc stuff, or just cars in general. his sport is golf. for some reason i like cars. i know a thousand times more stuff about cars. okay this post is really pointless. waste of bandwidth. and i find myself still typing...but that is cool that you are getting her to start early. you just need to get a boy so you know for sure he will be interested!

Ace, I myself have a ten year old son who made "solo" status last fall on a .60 kit extra 300 w/a os .91 4 stroke. He's been flyin a 3d foamie with me through the winter and has really gotten his orientation down. He's gonna be flyin our pants off this year i fear
