What effect on the clutch would you get if you turned the shoes backwards in the clutchbell?
(Having the shoes in front of the pins in flywheel instead of behind the pins in the normal spot)
Would you gain any "grab" from the shoes going the other way? Or would they slip more?
I have always wondered about this.

RE: What effect would this have on the clutch??
In some cases they will slip a lot more and even burn up.........but then again I screwed up once and turned them around, didn't even notice till I did a tear down about a week later [:-] Its not a good idea because it works against the inertia force applying the shoes [&o]
