Default Are you ready for summer?

Man, it's a nice day here in Toronto... no snow.. no rain...it's not even cold.. just slightly under 0 celcius.

Just ran my Slash for 30 minutes doing some crazy jumping... nothing break..everything was smooth... nice truck....

going to the little circle truck at the huge park beside my house later in the afternoon to have some more fun.... gonna bring my nitro as well..

so are you guys ready for summer yet?? Hope it's not going to snow anymore..

Not even cold? Under 0 degrees?
You're crazy...
I don't go race my car if it's anything under 15 degrees... thankfully a winter day is 20 degrees here so with a jumper I am fine outside

I feel for you guys up there. I'm in Austin and the weather is hardly ever too cold. Today it's actually a cold day. I think it's only gonna get to 58 degrees. Burr. It was 80 two days ago and I almost took the top off of my Jeep.

Closest I've ever been to lving in Canada was a winter in Minniapolis. Way, way too cold there. It's 57F (14C) here right now but has been in the upper 60's, low 70's (18 - 22) the past week.Another month or so and we'll be getting into some really good weather and I will be very glad for it.

There isnt really a winter up here in southern california. Rains every once in a while. I think the coldest it ever was during the winter was 40degrees F.

Boy howdy am I ready for the spring and summer! It has been an extraordinarily cold winter this year. I remember in the south that it basically was summer from spring through fall and winter was basically just a long spring. Great for running RCs all year around.

believe me when you go thru one of the coldest Januarys on record where it was between -20 and -30 most of the month, 0 C seems pretty darn balmy on a sunny day in Feb.....barely even need a coat!

Very true abot the snow...

Almost all the snow melted here! It got above 40f a few days and it was amazing! I put on shorts and a t-shirt and went outside. It's about 20f now. Just a little too cold for being outside too much. Whenever it's above freezing this time of year it's really nice.

As for being ready for summer, I've been lifting to get in shape and I'll begin running when it warms up even more. I finished my spud gun, my crt .5, and I'm getting parts in the mail for my third project, my electric bike. This summer is going to rock!

sure it gets pretty nippy in edmonton but in ontario we don't get the luxury of those shinook winds passing thru making it 15C in the middle of january............plus here it actually snows especially when you're an hr north or west of toronto

Guys, I think you need to realize that Edmonton is the northern most city over 1,000,000 people in North America. We will routinely get at least a few days a winter that's -40 or colder.

Edmonton's lowest ever is -46, Torontos is -32. This is from Environment Canada.

The snow on the sides of my driveway routinely get up to, and sometimes over, 6 feet.

Sure parts of Ontario get colder than Toronto but how many people live up there? If you want to compare that way then I'll pick a city in Northern Alberta and you'll really lose, -55 easy north of Fort McMurray.

If you lived there then that would make your arguement stronger, plus that's one year.

Back to topic.... I'm more than ready for summer, cars, trucks, boats and helis are ready to go.

Man just let it go, look up the stats on Environment Canada for the last 20 years, not one year.
