Plus you can up grade it to LST2 Specs down the road
whats the differance?
Difference's between the LST1/Aftershock & the LST2

The Up Grade kit is and always was $110 at a main (Put it in your cart to see the Price) And the DriveTrain Parts Alone are worth it......

The Aftershocks a pretty good truck....But 14mm hex's & 6mm Axles are Old school these Days.....IMO
The axles hold up fine and you can convert to 17mm hexes which cost about 6.00. Almost a year on my aftershock running an LRp adn still the original axles. I also run 17mm hexes.

Yea I have 17mm Hex's on my LST1, (but I Still Bust alot of axles on that thing....Mainly just Snap the Pins but it's still a PITA)......Got 4 LST1 axles left....then the LST2 stuff going on it

You need to make your own pins with hardened steel rod. You can cut to length and have plenty to spare. I was breaking pims also until I replaced them with the hardened steel rod and have not broke one yet. My local hobby shop guy recommended it to me. He carries the rod just for this purpose. Not sure where he gets it from.
