Anybody using one of the venom pro brushless systems? Good Bad Fast Slow? Tech at Venom claims that the Castle can't even keep up speed wise but sound like sales pitch.

Well I don't have any experience with the venom brushless system exactly, but it looks like a rebadged Speed Passion ESC and a Trinity DUO motor (old version with side vents). And both of those are good.

almost everyone seems to be running the Castle systems.........be a little different and get a Venom system........at least this way u get a first-hand view of how they perform.

These are the same combos as the Hobbywing Xerun 120amp and Speed Passion (1.1?) sets. See if you can find any for a better price as having Venom be another dealer in the process of selling the ESC will add a few extra bucks.
It's a decent system but you'll easily get more performance from a Novak or CC system.
