Hey all I have had many discussions with people about scale speed. I just wanted to know your opinions. Does it exist? Is there a formula? What do you all think?

Does it exist. Well I think that depends on if you are a seller or buyer. Sure if you are a seller then telling everyone that a Tmaxx reaches scale speeds of 420 mph sounds good. Thats saying since its 1/10 model then does 42 mph x 10 = scale speed. I think. I don't like it. It goes as fast as it goes and thats it. Scale speed is crap.

I agree. There's no point in stating scale speed. It's vaporware and meaningless.
Dlock, it sounds like a slam but it's not. I just don't think scale speed means anything.

I'm sorry I did not mean to come off like I was slamming you. I was talking about the companies that market to children. Like Nikko and others. It pumps up their product and increases sales. When to a kid that does not know better and reads it and thinks wow thats fast and buys it. Then to get it home and it does 8-10 mph, even though scale it may may be 90 mph, and they are very disappointed in the product.
