Default Pull Start

are all the pullstart for .12 engine the same?? in other word, is pullstart universal fit in any engine as long as the engine size stay the same???

I currently have HPI .12SS engine. I think i'll get a new engine that's non-pullstart and put pullstart from my old engine to save some money.

You cant put a pull start on a non-pull start engine without modifying the engine. Just buy a new pull start engine.

Most pullstarts are not universal, in order to turn a a non pullstart engine into a pullstart engine you would need a backplate and a pullstart crank shaft. For first time nitro I wouldnt recommend trying to do this.
