well guys i need to get my first rc car. im just going to kepp it simple andc tell u what im looking for. its between the traxxas slash and the tamiya tt 01. i know they are 2 totally different types but for a beginner wht one is best. what one is faster, more versitile, easier to setup,funnest,cheapest(and price),parts availablitity,durability, all season fun. thank you.

All depends on what you want to do more. The Tamiya is completely limited to smooth surfaces so the Slash would definitely be more versatile. It will also be faster, more durable, and I think parts will be easier to get. Pricewise, these 2 should be pretty much the same. As for running all season, no contest, the Slash since it is waterproof. If you just want to drift on the other hand, then I'd get the TT01.

I recently just picked up a Slash......Its a great starter RC, and my opinion is off road is more fun for me cause of the conditions where I live. Not sure about what one is faster, but the Slash is more versitile, all season fun. Im sure you would be happy with A Slash.........

if its your first car your gonna want the slash its a very easy car to work with and there are parts galore for it and if you ever decide to race almost every track has a slash class

dude those are old school there just kinda cheap and look like radio shack cars slash is much better for a begginer almost every hobby shop carries traxxas parts.
