Default Emergency help - installin Muffler

hi, i just bought a very nice and expensive exhastus for my Kyosho. now when i gonna install it, its kind of hard since i dont know what really to fest it whit, its stuck in the end of it but the front is just lying to the ground right now, and I got this little metal stick, a long silver colored iron stick whit some circle hole in the end, Dont know what to do whit it eiather..
http://www2.gpmd.com/image/k/kyoc4658.jpg
Its that stick i was talking about... no clue what to do whit it , anyway if i take a normal wire made of plast or something... it might burn or melt... so im not really sure what to take...

please send pic's or a nice explanation and not like the one on my manual

the "stick" needs to be mounted to a body screw or some other nearby screw. I don't have a pic here at work but there is one that mounts the radio plate on mine, pull that screw out, slide it in the round end and screw it down.

the other end (not the rounded one) goes into the front of the muffler, there should be an allen screw in there, back it out a bit and put the end in there. Lemme draw up a quickie pic for ya..be right backk

you probably have to bend that "stick" a bit to make it fit depending on how yours is setup, but i hope you get the idea. Let me go look and see if I can find a pic somewhere..

okay heres another one. i circled in red the part where the "stick" goes. You can kind of make it out going to the screw there just in front of the gas tank

lol the thing is, MADE FOR PURETEN GP ALPHA *my model* is what it says, says also a good manual but i dont wanna drill in my chassi... maybe ill be forced but rather not.. its even Recommended by kyosho heh. Anyway, why dont u think it will work? its not like it'll slip off, just if i make some crash or something that it'll get damaged.. anyway i think i will rent a drill and do as manual says but i still dont know if it will work

sweet thats EXACTLY how mine is attached. You can't really see it in that one pic up top that I found but that's what I was trying to get at lol. Good job.

I dig the zip-tie tho, that makes it look so ghetto lol
