is there anything I can use in alternative to the oil that you put on your air filter?

the filter oil bottle says it just contains mineral spirits, and thats it. I wouldnt risk it though....

most oils will do. the correct oil is the best bet but afterrun oil or even engine oil will do the job and catch the particles of dirt.

you cant be FLAT broke. I have been wit $0 in the bank and found $9.oo in change in my couches.just look harder, seek and ye shall find.
