Default HI Quick question

HI I am new here I just got my duratrax maximum BX from towerhobbies with everything I need. I finished breaking it in and have had some fun with it. I am gonna buy some more fuel from tower hobbies soon. What else should I buy to maintain, help anything for my new R/C? Any tip anything I am totally new to R/C. Oh and how about a differnt way to start other than the recoil start for cheap? thanks everyone

Default HI Quick question

For performance the first thing that i would get would be a good exhaust to increase torque.

Default HI Quick question

i think that the BX can ues a starter box to start it, if it does you should get one of those before you do anything

I would guess it was a RTR? If so get a better stearing servo with metal gears. I also second the starter box. I do not use pull starts myself. After bashing all day the hand and arm gets tired. I am just lazy that way though.

i like my pull start for some reason. had an electric start with a rustler (i took it back) and it wasnt the same. and when i have a pull start i think they are a pain. oh well, i dont know what i want. well yes i do but i wont bore you with that.

These are the things you should buy right away. The starter box should come after this, because this is what you need to maintain your car. Also, some denatured alcohol for cleaning would be good.

contact or brake cleaner works well. i like brake cleaner because it works just as well at killin wasps and other bugs than raid. like 3 bucks a can at your local auto parts shop.
