I just finished putting together an RS4 2 that I purchased new about 2 years ago. The engine started fine and seems to be running OK. I followed the needle settings in the manual for the break in period. I even gave it a half turn extra on the rich side. It says that at full speed it should emit some blue/white smoke. I have seen very little smoke but there is lots of fuel coming out of the pipe.
My question is does this sound normal? I'm on the 4th tank of fuel and thought about backing the needle down that half notch. Is it possible I have it too rich? I'm really concerned that I may damage the engine.
Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

The engine should be fine and yes fuel spiting out of the pipe is normal. It will only emit smoke if you are running the engine at higher than idle rpm's. Just continue through the normal break in procedure but i would set the needle back to 3 turns out. Just a suggestion.
