how do i know when its time for a rebuild with out taking my entire diff apart??

prolly when u start gettig probs with it. i just rebuilt mine for the first time yesterday. very easy!

Open em up, if your cleanin your car taking stuff off every once and a while relube em. lil careing for and its all good .

IF you spin one wheel and hold the other and it feels gritty then its time for a relube or rebiuld depending on the condition. brainleak is right, aslong as you take care of the diff it will last a long time.
