Default Upgrades?

ok, im still kinda new to the whole RC world, can you guys give me some ideas on what would be some good upgrades for rtr setups to make em more derable to jumps and racing in general? ive got a rtr losi triple x brushless, and a kyosho tr15 stadium truck rtr, both completely stock. im also looking to get a nitro buggy so if you have any suggestions, feel free to input, if possible list upgrade for your suggestion. i was thinking about a Team Assoc. RC8 nitro buggy.

I can't help you out on the upgrades, but what is your price range for the buggy?

but im not just looking for upgrades for my specific cars, just what other people have done to theirs to make it more durable, so just give me some very common mods. like something you would do to ur car right when you get it.

Well nitro buggy I bought a Jammin X1 that I have yet to run due to the weather
its $340 at amain RTR
I got the CNC F/R brace and the CNC Z-brace which is all I heard it needed to make it insanely durable. I spent about $40 on them(gotta love ebay) where their retail price is almost $90ish total. I've yet to break in the buggies engine, and have already reinforced the frame . The guy who told me about the braces him and his friends own Jammins, and said with those braces you would have to go out of your way to break it (and they've tried).

and most my others I usually try and get aluminum steering knuckles cause I have had bad luck with breaking them in the past. I also like to get alum shock towers (had the alum shock tower for my DF-02 before I even got the kit).
