Default Quick guestion...

I have a question i need answered really fast.

Can you run a sensored motor with a sensorless esc?

Im looking at a Novak 3.5r motor and Mamba Pro 1s esc and was wondering if they would work REALLY GOOD and FUNCTION like they should.

You can use both sensored and non-sensored motors with a sensorless ESC but you can only use a sensored motor with a sensored ESC.

Alright thanks a bunch. Also do you have to run the sensor cable to the motor or will be fine without it. Whats the point of the cable. I know a little about it, It sends info to the ESC telling what position the rotor is in, but is that all it does.

Both the Novak and Mamba are sensored AND sensorless.
