There are 5800's as well.
8000 mah is usually made up of parallel cells, 2s2p, meaning you have 2 cells in parallel, to give you 8000 mah, and the 2 more like that put together with the first pair in series, so you get 7.4v with 8000 mah.

Just be aware of the physical dimensions of 5000mAh+ batteries. NiMH packs use standard sized sub-C cells, but lipos come in all shapes and sizes. The high capacity packs are physically larger than the lower capacity packs, and won't necessarily fit in all vehicles. I got a pair of turnigy 5000mAh hardcase lipos for my evader, and was more than a little bummed out that they were a hair too tall to fit under the ESC shelf (which is part of the frame and cannot be adjusted).

Also take into consideration where the wire is for power. In my case my DF-02's battery post is right where the wire goes into the case, and I'd have to cut the tub side off to fit the width of the lipo(+ I'd need a new way to clamp it down seeing its taller than the hold down).

The [link=http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11598]4000mAh hardcase turnigys[/link] are a bit smaller than the 5000mAh versions, and the wires come out of the top of the pack, rather than the end. It's a much more convenient setup, so I ordered a pair for my evader. I'll just use the 5000mAh packs in my stampede.

The pair I ordered showed up this afternoon. They fit in the evader perfectly. I just wish the balancing wires were offset a bit, because they're right where the battery bar sits. They're a bit smaller than the 5000mAh packs in every dimension, and should fit in pretty much any car that can take a standard 6-cell NiMH. Good stuff. For only $20 per pack, you really can't go wrong.
