Thinking about up-grading already
I have had a losi strike for 3-4 weeks now.
Ireally like it and all. Worked out the few bugs, but the problem im having is where i mess around mostly is loose gravel. 2 wheel cars have no control here what so ever.
Ihave yet to see a 4X4 there but they must be better.
Anyone use a 4x4 on gravel? Im just not having fun with a 2 wheel.
If so any decent 4x4 out there that runs 3s and doesnt cost 500$??

i have the 3s, i just want to get a car that can handle them. My first was a ACMEraptor. It was sent with a 3s so i bought 4 more, but come to find out the motor and esc were only 2s ready!
Do the new slash's have the electronic to handle 7s? Ive seen several on ebay and most come with 6 or 7s.

Probably wont get it for awhile but what is suggested so i can keep an eye out for a good deal?
Ireally like the E-Maxx and E-revo Kinda pricy, and dont know if they run on 3s lipo's.
Slash is up there but for 100$ more i would get one of the first 2. and 100% water proff is a big seller for me.
ANy other good brands out there?

Never understood why it's a big deal to have a waterproof RC CAR.
It's no fun to run in water.
Why would you expose your diffs and bearings and universals to such things?

Slash vxl esc can not handle 6s, nor would you want it to...3s is incredibly fast on a 1/10th scale anyway. If you want 6s power look into 1/8th brushlessbuggies and truggies....or even monster trucks...but the price goes up considerably.

While running it was a good thing it was waterproof cause the snow covered some deep potholes up where there was water under it and my RC dived in and was completely submerged. If it wasn't waterproof all the electronics would have fried.
Now if your going to run it in a condition where you will never be near water than its pointless.

It all depends in the winter I had a blast with my one I made waterproof. Got it dirty took it in and threw it in the shower and hosed it off with the shower head. I was also running plastic bushings where ever I could , and would hose the few I didn't replace with bushings down with WD-40 after every other run.

Thats why i want 4x4. My old car was 4x4 and it was great in the rain. To bad the car just fell apart on me.

What Size Lipo can the slashs use? I have 5 3s lipo and want to stay with a car that uses them.

I have a e-maxx that is pretty fun on gravel and stuff like that. It is definatly easier to control, but it still gets loose if you hit WOT right away.
