Default RS flying arrow

i just got a radio shack flying arrow i picked up from ebay.
i know that some of the older radioshack buggies were pretty decent, and in good condition can be worth alittle bit today.

anyone know if the flying arrow is one a collector might want?

i bought it mostly cause the radio had a "turbo" function. when i was young, a buddy of mine had a radio shack RC that had a simillar style radio...and we had TONS of fun with that thing.

Did you do a completed item search to see what they have gone for in the past.  I have found that this is the best way to judge value as it is a live snapshot of actual auctions.

Depends on the collector. If you find someone who collects those radioshack, tyco, etc cars, then yes, they'll probably want it. As for value, it's worth as much as someone will pay for it. It's hard to put a price on collectibles. You can have a baseball from the winning home run of one of the world series games, but if no one wants it, then it's worthless. However, if someone wants it more than his/her family, friends, and life, they will fork out the money.

I used to have a Tyco turbo car. I loved that thing. Actually, I still have it. But the front A-arm is broke and I don't have a replacement []

i drove it today. kinda slow. it only has a 380 motor.
i know that some other arrow(red or golden) have 540 motors and were pretty decent buggies for their day. but i dont think this buggy is of that grade.
oh well. i know a young kit i can give it to who will have fun with it.

You are correct that a Golden Arrow is worth a few bucks. I had one from when I was a kid that was pretty much perfect. I sold it to a local collector for a decent dollar a few year back but it took a long time to find someone that wanted it.

i have the original "flaming arrow" not the "2" in its original box and in pristine condition. with nothing missing.. thought i would hang on to it for now. but yes they are worth a buck !!
