Default Idle problem, Nephew needs help

My little nephew has a Traxxas Nitro Rustler. The car runs great idle's good as long as the wheels are off the ground. As soon as the wheels hit the gound the car dies. He starts it ans gives it a push as he lets it down and it runs like a top but if he stops it dies. Now I can pretty much work on anything if I know whats wrong. I am new to cars so kind of lost as to what I need to change or adjust.

What ya think is going on with it?

Shane

If it is set up correctly and engine is close to proper tune, check the clutch springs. One may be broken causing the clutch to drag.
