I have a rc10gt. i got it used and it didnt come with a pipe just a header,so i just started to run it open header is that good?

It isn't good for the engine to run it without the pipe. For 2 stroke engines to run properly (appropriate cooling and lubrication), proper backpressure is required. You are risking shorter engine life.

many track are located near residential area (at least in this part of the world)
noisy rc = complaints that can result in closure of tracks... this is why in 1/8 on road we have to use noise restrictors ... INX box, 3 chamber pipe....
what we consider as music is a nuisance to others that don't like it..
