Sry about that nitromac, i don't check my inbox often. Well anyway, my grandpa is an father is an inventor. and i sort of know some stuff that he taught me about mechanics and electronics. So, he and I were invited into picking a few mechanisms that were best suited for sir killalot. I was telling them that i did not like their design and was recommending them the robot that i have (the 403 kg one). So ya that's what happened. By the way this was in England. And for you fantom, you are always on the attack jeez. I don't have a digital camera, or scanner. Why? Well because the one's that i had were sold on ebay with my old comp. So i can't post a pic. Although, I can give you any specs you want answered. :D

OH yeah and Sir Killalot has a petrol driven engine. And has a mechanical arm. It uses a very high gearing and heavy duty gears to squeeze that claw of his so hard. (it's not pneumatic). My roobots claws are moved by electromagnets. I feel that's more effeciant.

RE: robot time

how do you mean electro magnets? do you mean motors?

helidreamer-RCU 04-22-2004 02:33 PM

RE: robot time

no, i mean 2 magnets that are on the arms. When I turn the magnet on, the claws come toward each other with a very powerful force. After all, electromagnets are used to picl up old cars and put them in the scrap pile.
