ok i fixed it

i want one that has a better read out.....the red-yellow-greeen doesnt give me enough information. i want to pop a battery in there and see a read in digital 0.09 volts .....or on a fully charged battery 1.2 volts.

You could

Why not get the led display, then if you dont have one, a small digital handheld meter.
I use the handheld as my source, check after every run, but you could leave the led onboard, and use the handheld to verify once in a while. Try to mount the led with vibration in mind...
Hope it helps

My friends and I just use a multimeter to test individual batteries, and also the output from the leads on packs. It's not this model, but this is the idea of what i'm looking at.

If you just go to radioshack and tell them what you're looking for, they should be able to help you find one that'll do what you want.

yeah i want read out like that but with the "battery snap in" feature.
i can just solder the leads to a 1 cell battery tray from an old radio i got that takes 1 AA. i guess that would work, i was just looking for one already made.
