i posted this in electric on accident

anyone have a link to a compnay that makes something like

but instead of it having LED display, i want it to have a voltage reading (down to 0.00 ive seen 0.003). one like an ohm meter or even an lcd display. thanks if you know

ok i fixed it

i want one that has a better read out.....the red-yellow-greeen doesnt give me enough information. i want to pop a battery in there and see a read in digital 0.09 volts .....or on a fully charged battery 1.2 volts.

Why not get the led display, then if you dont have one, a small digital handheld meter.
I use the handheld as my source, check after every run, but you could leave the led onboard, and use the handheld to verify once in a while. Try to mount the led with vibration in mind...

so guess thats a no ......no one makes what im looking for. maybe ill make one myself.

My friends and I just use a multimeter to test individual batteries, and also the output from the leads on packs. It's not this model, but this is the idea of what i'm looking at.

If you just go to radioshack and tell them what you're looking for, they should be able to help you find one that'll do what you want.

yeah i want read out like that but with the "battery snap in" feature.
i can just solder the leads to a 1 cell battery tray from an old radio i got that takes 1 AA. i guess that would work, i was just looking for one already made.
