What did Traxxas cook up?
Looks like Traxxas has a new release planned. I imagine its a VXL Slash or something else equally unimaginative, but maybe they will surprise us with a 4x4 1/10th E truck!

RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
I just hope its not another car with a Revo chassis claiming to be a whole new car.
I have my fingers crossed for a rally car. :) |
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
My best guess is an E-Slayer. whoopy?
|
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
1/5 gasser

RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
T maxx. I've heard. It has a .28 engine. Then again maybe not. I hate being teased. That sucks. Just have to wait until 10-8-09. YAY! Something to look forward to.

RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
ORIGINAL: samguan 1/5 gasser that already had that ..it was from the 1985-1995(?) it was a called a trx monster buggy with a 23cc engine on it. check it out....i don't see the gasser from trx....maybe a buggy or truggy...but alittle late on that idea. or a good big block but that is even late idea. here is a link http://monster.traxxas.com/showthrea...=monster+buggy |
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
i would like to see traxxas step up to the truggy class and try an make a race vehicle. im tired of the revo and its variations. they got lucky with that design.

RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
As a designer, I have to say that being lucky doesnt happen often. A great deal of design time went into that chassis and it works well. Give some credit.

RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
Looks like I guessed right. Awesome. Looks like I can replace my 4x4 Rustler.
|
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
Yeah the 4x4 slash is very nice looking. Have to see how much they want for it.
|
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
This is what I have been waiting for something 4wd in the competition
2wd is fun but they are just not as fast All the others will have them out just give it a while |
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
Yeah I remember seeing somewhere a prototype of an Ofna 4x4 Brushless SC. Guess Traxxas beat them to the punch though. I"m really excited about this. I was on the fence about getting a SC due to the brushed motors and 2wd, but this brushless 4x4 is gonna be hot.

RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
I looked at the Traxxas website and all the info on the new Slash 4x4 and now I"m more excited than I was before. Nice to see a lot of new tech and design going into it :)
there will still be haters though :( |
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
The 4X4 is probably what they should have done in the first place. I wonder how the 2WD version will fare now for sales?
|
RE: What did Traxxas cook up?
The ofna 4x4 SCRT10 or whatever looked like a buggy chassis/layout. Not that buggy designs are bad, but atleast this is different.
