TC3 Setup Question

1 Attachment(s)
I am in the process of switching over electronics to a new (for me) Factory Team TC3 (purchased used off this site). I did not assemble this or my existing TC3, but I do have a manual to review. In setting it up I noticed the right rear wheel has "toe-in" and I can not find how to adjust it out. I don't think rear tires are supposed to have toe-in. The left rear is straight but the right is turned in almost 1/8". I have attached a picture but it's not the greatest but it may help illustrate my problem. Please let me know how to correct this.
Thanks

TC3 Setup Question

Any thoughts on this ??? I guess unless I hear otherwise, I'll just tear into the Hub Carrier and Arm and see if I can find anything out of alignment. Guess that's the best way to learn about it anyway since I didn't do the initial assembly.... :stupid:

TC3 Setup Question

Please go here....

http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ma...anual_2001.pdf

Goto step 2.

Look for part number 3863 with the number 4 over it. Then read the part number 4 on the same page.

And there you should have it. Its easier if you go there and read that then me explain it to you.

If you have any other problems, post it!

TC3 Setup Question

yeah the TC3 requires different parts of the piece that holds the hinge pins (dont know the name/part number) to change the rear toe in.

TC3 Setup Question

Thanks Guys ... I missed that when I went through the manual. I guess that's just one more disadvantage to not building it yourself. But I got such a deal already built ... Anyway, glad you posted this before I tore it down. Based on what I've read now I think I will leave it as is. Need to improve my basic driving skills before I start tweeking the setup. Thanks Again.
